I’m a writer and editor with a foundation in journalism, where I learned to value clarity, accuracy, and strong storytelling. Whether I’m reporting a story or editing someone else’s work, I focus on making writing concise, engaging, and accessible. I enjoy working behind the scenes as much as on the page—refining structure, sharpening language, and helping ideas come through as clearly as possible.

I attended Salem High School in Salem, Massachusetts. I discovered my love for writing when I was a freshmen and the class that inspired me was my creative writing class.

I got my bachelors degree at Arizona State University. The classes that I excelled in were English Composition 101 and 102, Intro to Creative Writing, Rhetoric for Writers, Intro to English Studies, Interpretive Theory, English Studies Research, and Beginning Workshop Fiction.

Academic Projects

This is my best academic work I have done throughout my schooling. There is a variety of essays, rhetorical analysis, interpretive theory essays, persuasive essays, research and argumentative essays. These were written in advance English and History classes throughout my degree program.

Finding Her Way Back Home

Charmion Smith dreads for a place she can call home. Even if it's a foster family. Charmion meets a boy, Lucky and they became best friends. As they both started getting older, Charmion started to fall in love with her foster brother. Soon enough he gets adopted and moves to Arizona leaving Charmion. Four years later, Lucky comes to visit Charmion and all those feelings she tucked away came back and she doesn't know how to react.With Lucky being back, Charmion gets another surprise. Her birth mother reaches out to her and that really pushes her over the edge. Not only that, her birth father gives her a call in the middle of the night and her life goes downhill from that one phone call. Charmion is determined to find out who is responsible for her foster mother's death and her number one suspect is her father. Only to find out, he isn't her real father. Charmion then uncovers the truth about her family but also the horrible truth about herself. Charmion then is put in a postiton of life and death and the odds are stacked against her. Everyone has given up on her, her family, law enforcement, even Lucky. Her life is falling apart and there is only one person to blame.

For four years she was locked away from the world and kept a secret, for anyone who finds out about her and her abilities, she would not be safe. As she adjusts to her new life and faces new challenges, she accidentally exposes herself in front someone and everything turns for the worse. Cassidy eventually sees the true beauty and awesomeness of her abilities by the help of someone she soon falls for. Cassidy then meets a man by the name of John Carson who wants to help her and show her that she is so much more than a test rat. Later she found out that it was all a lie. A family affair is brought to light, and sadly, Cassidy is right in the middle of it. As she faces more challenges, someone else poses a threat to Cassidy and her life is turned upside down. Cassidy is stuck between a rock and a hard place and can’t handle the pressure. She is put in a life and death situation and doesn’t know if she can go on anymore. Will Cassidy finally live the life she deserves or will she have to keep watching her back for the rest of her life?

The House On Crimson Road

Hood River is a small town where everyone knows everybody by name. But every town has its secrets. And the secret of this town is the house that lies on the end of Crimson Road. Unlike other homes in Hood River, the house on Crimson Road has its fair shares of conspiracy stories. And having to grow up with these conspiracy stories, Abigail Walker a resident that has lived in Hood River her whole life, has always had her doubts that they are true conspiracies. No one in Hood River has seen or heard anyone coming out that house for 25 years. One day, Abigail bumps into a mystery man on the streets, a man she has never seen before and soon finds out that he lives in the house on Crimson Road. But when this mystery man starts taking a liking of Abigail, she begins to keep a watchful eye on him.

For the first time ever, there has been a murder in Hood River and everyone is frantic. Nothing like this has happened before. Abigail is in complete despair and she firmly believes that man she bumped into is responsible. She then finds out the horrifying truth about this mystery man and the alleged conspiracy theories about the house on Crimson Road. She uncovers the horrors that goes inside that house and is put in a situation where it’s life and death.

Peer Feedback Reviewer

My freshmen and sophomore year of college I was a peer reviewer for my ENG 101 and 103 class. I was in charge of editing students papers and providing feedback on their writing assignments.

Editorial/Writer Internship

I was part of editorial/writing internship at Funktasy Magazine. I helped write weekly articles and participated in weekly meetings pitching story ideas and peer review.

Editor in Chief

Currently I am the Editor in Chief of Gesri, A Student-Led, Peer-Reviewed, and Interdisciplinary Journal of Science.

Upcoming Novel

Solitude

My current project I am working on is an autobiography about myself and my life. I talk about the struggles I've had, how I've overcome the challenges of my childhood and transitioning into adulthood. This book will put my whole self out there, this will be the real me, and I am excited to share this with the world.
